Request account and data deletion.
Your employer creates the work account, but you can still request its deletion. This page explains the route and the limits before you ask.
Updated 16 September 2026
How to make a request
- If you can sign in: open the Attendance.cy mobile app, go to Settings → Your data rights → Request account and data deletion, choose erasure, read the retention explanation, confirm and submit. The app shows your request and status; an open request can be cancelled there. The organisation provides its outcome and any retention explanation.
- If you cannot sign in: ask the employer or organisation that created your Attendance.cy account to handle an erasure request. You can also email [email protected] with the subject “Attendance.cy account and data deletion,” your account email and employer/workspace name. We will direct the request to the responsible organisation and assist it. Do not send your password, PIN or QR code.
- What happens next: the responsible organisation confirms identity and authority, reviews the records, decides what can be erased, removes eligible account and profile data, and records a response. Lemorange acts under its instructions for workforce data. The request is not an instant deletion button.
What can be deleted—and what may remain
Eligible for removal
Sign-in access, app-device registrations and notification identifiers, removable profile details, and personal data that the employer no longer has a lawful reason to keep. Other entries may be anonymised where a legitimate business record must remain.
Restricted retention
Attendance, payroll, tax, security or audit records required by law or a legal claim may be kept with limited access. Protected backup copies can remain until overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
There is no universal retention period: it depends on the organisation's documented policy, record type and applicable legal duty. The organisation explains the period and reason for any records it keeps in its response.
Timing and confirmation
A request is reviewed without undue delay and normally answered within one month after the responsible organisation has the information needed to confirm identity and authority. The GDPR permits an extension for complex or multiple requests; the organisation must explain that if it applies.
The app tracks the request and outcome. An erasure request can end as completed, partially completed or declined with an explanation. Completion of the request record alone does not mean legally retained work records have been erased.
Read the Attendance.cy privacy notice for the categories of information involved and who controls them. For your own employment records, the employer is the primary contact; for Lemorange's own enquiries, contact [email protected].
